Architectural Significance

The mosque was designed by Bahar Mızrak and Hayriye Gül Totu, both of them being Turkish women architects. The six core beliefs of Islam are represented by the six minarets with each one 107.1 meters commemorating the victory of Seljuk Turk against the byzantine at Malazgirt in the year 1071.

The dome is 72 meters high representing the number of nations living in the city and the diameter of the second dome is 34 meters which is the official license plate number of Istanbul.

The 16 names of Allah inscribed on the dome are a tribute to the Turkish states established by Turks.

Come and see the grandeur of modern Turkiye with its historical roots. And you will be speechless by the beauty of it.
